Student Protests in Parliament Square: MPR to defend schoolboy

  • Posted
MPR Solicitors instructed in large-scale conspiracy to commit violent disorder at Guildford Crown Court

MPR have been instructed to represent a 15 year old schoolboy charged with violent disorder during the student protests that took place on 9 December 2010. Operation Malone is the codename for the specialist team that has been set up by the Metropolitan Police Service to investigate and prosecute all cases arising out of the student riots. A car carrying the Prince of Wales and the Duchess of Cornwall was also targeted by a group that same evening.

We anticipate a trial later in the year.

We have been chosen by the client’s family due to our reputation in being uncompromising in our standards and offering an individual service to our clients.

We work as a team at MPR and a client will always have at least 2 points of contact at the Firm: the solicitor with conduct of the case and the Firm’s Relationship Manager who is also a senior solicitor at the practice. Together and working with our clients, we believe we can deliver the right results.
