Energy Sector SFO Corruption case comes to an end

We were able to secure a 2.5 year sentence at Southwark Crown Court in one of the largest bribery and corruption investigations by the SFO and the City of London Police. It involved contracts in Egypt, The Russian Federation and Singapore valued at over £300 million. Our Client was responsible directly with contracts valued at £40 million.  This was a far reaching and complex investigation involving multi-jurisdictional enquiries.  The case was led by Abdullah Al-Yunusi who heads our Serious Fraud & Complex Crime team. Our client was delighted with the result. He will serve half of his sentence before release.
