Client found Not Guilty by Jury at Bristol Crown Court of a Conspiracy to Import Cocaine

Operation Anthill is the culmination of a coordinated investigation into serious organised crime led by Zephyr, the regional crime group that was established in 2010 to disrupt, dismantle and destroy serious and organised crime across the South West of England. This particular operation was coordinated with NCA (National Crime Agency formerly known as SOCA) and other agencies involving over 100 officers in dawn raids across the country.

The case involves conspiracy to import class A drugs, conspiracy to supply class A and class B drugs, money laundering and firearms offences in the South West of England and MPR Solicitors have been retained to defend.

The Firm’s Serious and Complex Crime Team will be defending the case headed by the Senior Partner who is also a practising defence barrister.

At MPR Solicitors, we cover serious and complex fraud, money laundering and conspiracy cases across the country and can attend at very short notice to any emergency out of office hours. This includes advice and representation at any police station in England and Wales. Our criminal defence lawyers cover the South West of England including Avon and Somerset, Devon and Cornwall, Dorset, Gloucestershire and Wiltshire. We work nationwide and globally. Often regional clients prefer the pro-active, hard-hitting London approach from our lawyers and we are established as a niche practice offering sound, tactical advice to clients facing serious and complex allegations such as serious fraud, money laundering, drugs conspiracy cases and firearms.
