MPR solicitors instructed in conspiracy to defraud against Met Police

We have been retained by a former company director to defend in fraud proceedings involving the Met Police Force and the complex law of Procurement.

The case is being investigated and prosecuted by the specialist Economic Crime Team at the CPS and involves several defendants.

The defence team is headed by the Firm’s Partner at MPR solicitors  Serious and Complex Fraud Team. A trial is likely to be next year with a time estimate of several months.

At MPR solicitors, we specialise in defending serious and complex Fraud cases and many of our lawyers have been involved in some of the largest and most complex fraud cases in England and Wales. Many cases also take on an international and multi-jurisdictional dimension including forensic accounting and analysis of vast amounts of data and financial information.

We like to offer clients a no-nonsense and alternative method of preparing cases within a client-bespoke set of parameters. Our lawyers think outside of the box and we look to challenge every piece of evidence however insignificant it may seem at the outset. Our meticulous preparation in large and complex cases can significantly lead to better than expected results.

If you think MPR solicitors can assist you or a business partner/associate, please contact us for an initial consultation in complete confidence on 0208 607 4660 or email law@mprsolicitors.co.uk

Our firm and its cases are Partner driven which means you will always have access to a Partner who will have overall supervision of your case and can provide strategic advice at an early stage.

We also have very close working links with the best QCs and leading fraud barristers in the country and can access them at very short notice or in emergencies thanks to one of the Firm’s partners being a senior barrister who also practices in one of the leading Chambers in London.
