Solicitor Advocate
Sapna specialises in criminal litigation and family law. She was called to the Bar in 1993, having trained at the Chambers of Sir Desmond de Silva QC (www.argentchambers.co.uk), formerly 2 Paper Buildings, a chambers ranked as a leading firm by Chambers UK Bar 2012. In 1998 Sapna qualified as a Solicitor Advocate and has rights of audience in all courts, civil and criminal.
Sapna was a founding partner of Constanti Shah Solicitors and ran the practice for many years, during which time she represented clients facing charges of the most serious nature. As an advocate Sapna is described as being a natural in front of a jury.
Sapna currently practices both criminal and family law. She advises on all aspects of private law issues, including relationship breakdown, applications for financial remedies and children related matters such as residence and contact. Sapna is committed, wherever possible, to resolving family matters in a constructive and non-confrontational way whilst providing the strongest representation of her clients’ interests.
Sapna is passionate about her work and ensures that a solid relationship of trust and confidence is built with her clients from the moment she takes on the case.
