Peramjit has an extensive criminal litigation background and has represented clients facing a wide variety of allegations from road traffic matters to serious assaults (GBH), large-scale conspiracies, drugs cases, murder and sexual offences.
He is a robust advocate in court who enjoys the challenges of complex legal argument and combines this with thorough case preparation to promote and protect his clients’ interests in all proceedings. He also regularly attends police stations to actively defend clients facing serious allegations.
Most recently he has successfully acted for a number of individuals charged with sexual offences under Operation Ore, one of the most far-reaching and widest criminal investigations launched by the Metropolitan Police in conjunction with several other law enforcement agencies world-wide.
Peramjit also specialises in the preparation of major cases before the Crown Court and has successfully represented individuals charged with murder and other serious offences.
Peramjit’s strength lies in his ability to establish a friendly no-nonsense approach with his clients and is able to give good sound advice at the crucial stages in a client’s case.
He qualified as a solicitor in 1999 having completed his training with a leading firm in West London specialising in Criminal Defence. He joined MPR Solicitors in 2001 and has recently obtained his Higher Rights of Audience which enables him to represent clients in the Crown Court.
Peramjit is also a Qualified Supervisor who has always been keen to provide the Firm’s trainee solicitors with the right guidance enabling them to start their careers with confidence in criminal law.
Personal Background:
In his spare time, Peramjit is a fitness fanatic and also regularly plays amateur badminton and hockey for the Gymkhana Hockey Club in Middlesex..
