Nina Kaikini

Solicitor Advocate

Nina qualified as a solicitor in 2003.  Since then she has specialised in criminal litigation.  She has extensive experience in dealing with a wide array of criminal offences, including Fraud, Violent Disorder, GBH, Rape and Murder.

Nina regularly represents both adult and youth clients in Police Stations, Youth Courts and Magistrates Courts.  She is also a Higher Courts Advocate and frequently appears in the Crown Court.  She is well-known for her meticulous preparation of complex cases, and has often represented clients with serious psychiatric conditions.
Nina is developing her skills as a trial advocate in both the Magistrates Court and Crown Court.  Recently, she has acted as led junior defence counsel in three separate Crown Court trials; a multi-million pound Conspiracy to Money Launder and Conspiracy to Supply Class A Drugs, a Murder (investigated by Operation Trident) and the re-trial of a case involving the importation of a large amount of Controlled Drugs.

Nina speaks fluent French, having spent time studying Law at a French University in Lyon as part of her degree.

Personal Background
Nina enjoys reading, cooking and visiting museums.  She has an artistic side and is developing a talent for photography.
