Martin specialises in all aspects of domestic and business crime and regulation. Acknowledged as the “doyen” of criminal law in West London and the South East, Martin has over 30years experience in criminal litigation with an emphasis on fraud, large-scale conspiracies, serious crime and money laundering. Over the years, Martin has acted for individuals and corporate clients in the most complex and serious cases. He also acts for dentists, doctors and police officers facing disciplinary actions by their Regulatory Bodies.
Martin has been with MPR Solicitors since its inception in 2001. He was formerly the founding and Senior Partner of Martin Murray Associates, one of the largest criminal law firms in the South East. Martin has represented clients in some very high profile cases including the legendary Hare brothers diversion fraud. Martin also maintains a general criminal defence profile in matters ranging from deception to murder. He sits as an Adjudicator on the Legal Services Commission’s High Cost Case Appeals Committee and is a Serious Fraud Supervisor. He regularly lectures on a variety of topics relating to criminal law and procedure.
