Police Station Representative
Bob specialises in representing clients at the police station and is an accredited police station representative. He has over 30 years experience in the Criminal Justice System and assists the Firm’s solicitors in preparing major cases with crime scene examination and assessment, covert and overt photography and witness tracing.
Prior to joining MPR Solicitors, Bob was a Senior Police Officer with the Metropolitan Police Service and has held key positions at New Scotland Yard within the International and Organised Crime Branch (SO1(1)) which was part of a dedicated team dealing with serious international and organised crime. He also worked at the South East Regional Crime Squad and at SCD11 which specialised in surveillance. He was instrumental in establishing the blue print for Missing Persons Enquiries which was adopted countrywide. His final role was that of Evidence Review Officer.
With his inside and in-depth knowledge of police practice and procedure, Bob is now able to utilise those skills to the advantage of his clients facing serious allegations. He regularly assists the Firm’s solicitors in major cases on the techniques utilised by the police in covert surveillance, major incident procedures and informant handling.
At MPR Solicitors Bob has represented clients facing very serious charges of murder, drug trafficking and most recently large-scale human trafficking: all of these cases involved either the Serious Organised Crime Agency (SOCA) or the specialist murder investigation teams within the Metropolitan Police Service.
Clients are reassured that they will receive high quality legal advice at the earliest stages in their cases from the police station up to the Crown Court.
Bob is an Associate Lecturer and lectures on a wide variety of topics within the Criminal Justice field.
